Walk with Us for Brain Tumour Research – In Support of Matt ❤️
➡️ Saturday 31st May 11am and/or Sunday 1st June 11am ⬅️
As many of you know, our amazing dad, Matt, was recently diagnosed with a brain tumour. He’s always been incredibly fit and healthy and there were no warning signs so this news has come as a huge and unexpected shock for all of us.
But if you know Matt, you’ll know he’s not one to dwell on the negative. True to form, he’s determined to turn this tough moment into something hopeful, something that might help others.
So we’re inviting you—our friends, family, and wider community—to join us for a fundraising walk in support of Brain Tumour Research. Whether you come on Saturday 31st May at 11am or Sunday 1st June at 11am (or both!), we’d love to see you for a relaxed walk around the IVC field in Histon, followed by a bring-your-own picnic.
Every step we take together is a step towards better research, better treatments, and better outcomes for families like ours.
Please give what you can. Every donation, big or small, will make a difference.
Brain tumours can strike anybody at any time. They are the biggest cancer killer of children and adults under 40, yet shockingly, just 1% of the national spend on cancer research goes towards finding a cure. Treatments haven’t changed in over 20 years, and survival rates remain far too low. We need that to change—and with your help, it can.
Thank you so much for your support.
