Story
Our lovely Meg & Annie’s mum Marion is a volunteer for Biggleswade, Potton and Sandy, Community First Responders
All the volunteers not only give up their time to provide this life saving service, they have to pay for their own uniform, medical kit & maintenance of their defibrillators. The mobile phone device they require costs over £1200 alone.
We would like to help raise awareness & support them by raising £999 from the 9th August to 9th September
As a Walkin staff team, we are going to walk 999km
One day it could be you or your loved ones needing this vital service.
Every day across the East of England, lives change in an instant. Together we can make a difference to help those affected by 999 medical emergencies.
Our mission is to enhance patient care, support staff & volunteers, and strengthen communities beyond NHS funding.
Together we can increase vital wellbeing for ambulance staff & volunteers, support patient care initiatives by those who see the challenges first-hand, deliver community education through the CPR & AED awareness scheme and so much more.
Together, we make a difference.
