Our aim is to raise £1,000 before Christmas Day for an amazing charity called The Dalgarno Trust.

100% of donations will go directly to The Dalgarno Trust’s foodbank and community meals programmes which will enable them to provide food and offer after school clubs to children in the local community.

Dalgarno Trust works with the local communities in W10, offering a wide range of activities, projects and services that promote health, wellbeing and inclusion for both the young and the not so young. We bring adults and children of all ages from diverse and disadvantaged backgrounds together, to help fulfil their potential and break the cycle of poverty, ill-health and deprivation.

A recent report by The Childhood Trust revealed the stark impact of hunger and food poverty that children are experiencing, caused by the cost-of-living crisis and rising food costs. A survey of school aged children aged between 7 and 16 found that 40% of those interviewed were experiencing food poverty. The charity is warning that government measures intended to help address the cost-of-living crisis do not go far enough and that this winter, thousands of children are at risk of malnutrition or worse.

No matter how much you can afford to give as a one-off donation, your donation matters. Every donation received adds up and helps the charity get to work and make a positive difference.
