Vestey Holdings and YMCA England & Wales have launched a transformative partnership to inspire the future generation and realise a shared vision to see young people reach their full potential.

In support of this partnership, from 18 June to 22 July, myself and my colleagues Candice Garthwaite, Gosia (Malgorzata Fojut) Joanna Liszka, Kamila Cybulska, Sanjay Mistry, Thomas McNamee, Rob Easton, Russ How joined as part of Walking Talkies Team and we are taking on a step-challenge that virtually takes us from Tokyo where the 2021 Olympics took place, to Paris, ready for the launch of the 2024 Olympics.

Walking the 28,000,000 miles between those two cities, we are raising money to support YMCA's work with young people experiencing homelessness. Those living in YMCA-supported accommodation receive so much more than just a bed and a roof over their heads. Young people receive vital emotional support, training and employment opportunities, as well as a place in a friendly community where they can thrive.
