Our annual fundraiser is back! This year’s Walk of Hope takes place on Saturday 27th September 2025, or you can organise your own Walk of Hope on any day that suits you.

Story

The Valentine/Sinclair/Venesky families are fundraising for the Brain Tumour Research charity through the Motherwell walk of hope on the 27th of September 2025. This event aims to help change the story for those facing a brain tumour diagnosis.

We are fundraising for our Mum who was diagnosed with a brain tumour this year. The Brain Tumour Research charity campaigns to increase the national investment in research for brain tumours, while also fundraising to create a network of sustainable brain tumour research centres of excellence across the UK. Brain tumour research is essential to develop new treatments and cures for these cancers. Research offers hope for better patient outcomes and survival.

If you would like to support us please donate through the link below and thank you.

Every September, thousands of supporters like you join our Walk of Hope events or organise their own walks in their community, set up fundraising pages and make donations to help find a cure for brain tumours, which kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer.

Will you step forward in 2025 to help find a cure?
