I am raising money for The Christie as their work gives time and hope to over 60,000 patients every year suffering with cancer. Behind every patient is a family and friend network all sharing in the fear that the word cancer generates. Through the work of The Christie my family got a further 14 years of crazy adventures and laughter with my Dad. That time is beyond price but comes at a price. By donating you help people like my Dad and their families have hope. Hope for a cure and hope for just a little more time.

I am giving a little of my time in the hope of raising some money that could help other families like mine grab just a little bit more time with their loved ones.

In honour of the 60,000 patients I will be walking 60,000 steps every day for 3 days, enabling me to cover the entire distance of Hadrian's wall. Built to protect from the greatest threat in Roman times - The Scots!! - now the Christie represents a barrier to prevent the ever growing tide of cancer cases.

Myself and 3 other friends will be covering the 84 miles over 3 days, equating to over a marathon a day for each day.
