Team: Walsingham Planning take on The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge!
Story
Walsingham Planning are attempting the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge on September 14th 2023 to raise money for SalGO Assist!
SalGO Assist is a small charity with a big challenge, supporting work among the poor in the south Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. They maintain two orphanages, two schools, and they also provide family and educational support, particularly for widows with children and the elderly.
The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge takes on the peaks of Pen-y-Ghent (694 metres), Whernside (736 metres) and Ingleborough (723 metres), usually in this order, and in under 12 hours. These hills form part of the Pennine range, and encircle the head of the valley of the River Ribble, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park.
