Wanderers ESU have taken on the challenge of the fundraising for a local charity. The Unit has chosen to support Maidstone Churches Winter Shelter.

The Unit's main fundraising activity will be running a quiz night leaders and scouting parents in the District, however all donations are greatly appreciated!

The charity provides hot meals and overnight accommodation throughout the coldest months to the homeless community and most vulnerable in Maidstone.

The charity is largely run by volunteers with a few part-time staff.

The charity offers more than just a bed for the night and works with their guests and partner agencies to secure permanent accommodation and signposting to government help.

£10 pays for a meal, hot drinks & snacks for one or more guest.
