Edward's 1200 mile bike ride for The Felix Project

Land's End to John O'Groats bike ride · 28 February 2023
In March 2023, I'm cycling 1200 miles from Land's End in the far south west corner of England, to John O'Groats at the north eastern tip of Scotland.
As a solo, unsupported ride, I expect to be on the road for 2 weeks or more. It's going to be emotional. 😀
This is not the shortest route to complete "LEJOG", and it's certainly not the best time of year to be cycling through the British weather.
But I'm throwing caution to the wind (probably literally) and setting off on 28th February.
I've been volunteering at The Felix Project for the past 9 months, giving some of my spare time to help out in their Limehouse kitchen. I've seen first hand the thousands of meals they make each and every day, delivering these along with other surplus food to nearly 1000 organisations.
The mission of the Felix Project is simple - to take surplus food from their suppliers and deliver it to any charity that helps feed people. It's all nutritious and would otherwise go to waste. Not only that, but it helps fight food poverty and reduces costs for hardworking organisations.
Please support me by helping me raise money for this fantastic charity. The money you give will help them with their plan to expand their operations and reach more people.
