In April I'm aiming to run Southampton Marathon, each day I ache a bit more and endure hours of pain to try and get ready for the race but this is just temporary because I'm getting old and not as fit as I was but it's my choice and some muscle rub and a bath and I'm back to good again!

For Annika it's a constant fight every day against the cruellest of diseases, for her incredible family an every day worry and battle, but during it all this incredible young girl is incredibly kind, warm and giving with the funniest sense of humour.

Raising this money will help fund vital trials and research to give Annika and other children like her the life they deserve.
