Warren and Sam take on London Landmarks Half Marathon and more events for ME Association

Warren Prigg is raising money for ME Association

London Landmarks Half Marathon 2026 · 12 April 2026 · Start fundraising for this event

The ME Association campaigns hard to get ME recognised as a severe neurological illness. Our helpline provides essential information and support to adults and children who have ME/CFS, and to their families and carers. We also fund biomedical research into the physical nature and causes of ME/CFS.

Story

In April 2026, we will both be taking on the huge challenge of running the London Landmarks Half Marathon for a special cause which is very close to our hearts.

The ME Association has been providing expert help since 1980. It understands the challenges faced by people with ME/CFS and believe that nobody should struggle alone. Sadly we have personal experience of needing help from this charity. We both want to give something back to the charity and help them to continue to support people through all stages of their illness. The ME Association want to see everyone get the help they need and, through research, help to develop an effective treatment and one day even a cure.

Warren only started running last year (2024) ago and Sam has only now started training from couch to reach this huge personal goal and both would appreciate any support you are able to offer. As part of the build up to the main event Warren will be undertaking other events including Ely Tri-fest Half Marathon October 2025, Run 10 in the Fen October 2025 Cambridge Half Marathon 2026 and more to be added, with donations from these events going into my London Marathon fundraising target. Sam will also be undertaking the Cambridge Half Marathon March 2026.

Thank you so much in advance for donating whatever you can, it really will make a massive difference.
