Warwick Canoe & Canoe Polo's PADDLEATHON for Paddle Trust

Warwick Canoe and Canoe Polo is raising money for Canoe Foundation
In memory of Alistair

24-Hour Paddleathon · 25 February 2026

The Paddle Trust (formerly the Canoe Foundation) supports the development and use of water spaces for a broad community of paddlers and other water users. We fund sustainable improvements to water access and information, as well as projects allowing access to blue spaces for more people.

Story

On the 25th-26th of February, Warwick Canoe & Canoe Polo will be taking on a 24-hour Paddleathon to raise money for the Paddle Trust (formerly the Canoe Foundation). Club members will paddle continuously for 24 hours to raise money for this important cause. Alongside the Paddleathon, members have set fundraising challenges that will be completed once specific donation milestones are reached, increasing fun and engagement while raising awareness.

We fundraise for this charity every year in memory of Alistair, a valued member of the paddling community who was passionate about fundraising and supporting causes that help others access the sport. Continuing this tradition is incredibly important to our club and reflects the values of inclusivity, community, and respect that Alistair stood for.

Your donations will help the Paddle Trust continue its vital work - Thank you for your support 🛶♥️
