The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, "When a son/daughter of Adam dies, his/her deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah (continuous charity); a knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him/her."

In honour of our late grandmother, Munira Hassan Abdallah, we aim to raise £5,000 to build two water wells within Taiz, Yemen, where communities are suffering from severe water shortages. This project will serve as a Sadaqah Jariyah for our beloved grandmother and will honour her Yemeni heritage and those she held dear.

Each well will be newly dug and fully equipped with solar-powered water pumps, solar panels, inverters, and water storage tanks, while ensuring the wells are protected against contamination. Every well will serve an entire village of approximately 1,200–1,400 people.

The cost to construct and equip one well is £2,500. We are partnering with SKT Welfare, and with their 100% donation policy, every penny you give goes directly to those in need.
