I'm joining a group of friends to raise money for Velindre Cancer Centre. I've committed to swim 10km, 400 lengths of the pool throughout the month of November. I'll be swimming for family and friends who live, or have lived with cancer, and those that are cancer free. My father, Russ, died from Stomach Cancer in 2023, but was so grateful for the treatment and outstanding care received at Velindre. He would have celebrated his Birthday this month, so Happy Birthday Dad, and thank you for being such an inspiration. With 1 in 2 of us developing cancer in our lifetime, Velindre Cancer Charity needs your support now more than ever.

Velindre's ambition for the future is to enhance the lives of cancer patients, carers, and families in Wales by funding innovative projects and services that extend beyond NHS provisions. Together, we stand with Velindre Cancer Service in delivering exceptional cancer services to over 1.7 million people across South East Wales and beyond.
