Wates Developments will be taking part in a Dragon Boat Challenge to raise vital funds for PAPYRUS.

We’ll be fielding two teams of 11 people in what promises to be a competitive (and probably slightly chaotic!) race to be crowned the fastest dragon boat team in Wates. While we’re ready to battle it out on the water, our real goal is to make a difference for those who need it most.

PAPYRUS is the national charity for the Prevention of Young Suicide.

Suicide is the biggest killer of young people under the age of 35 in the UK, every year over 1800 young people take their own lives. PAPYRUS provides confidential support and advice to young people struggling with thoughts of suicide, and anyone worried about a young person through their helpline, HOPELINE247.
