Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

This summer, a group of dedicated and intrepid Warrington Animal Welfare (WAW) volunteers are taking on the challenge of hiking up Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) in Eryri (Snowdonia).

The group of volunteers, of all ages and finesses, are aiming to raise £1,000 to help BUY A NEW ULTRASOUND MACHINE, a vital piece of equipment in the WAW onsite clinic as part of their mission campaign to reduce the amount of unwanted and abandoned pets, through encouraging responsible pet ownership and providing low cost neutering to those on benefits / low income who would normally struggle to afford it.

The old machine, which was kindly donated, has finally given up and the charity desperately need a new one.

Funds will also go to help support the rehoming centre and the vital work they do in raising the awareness of the importance of responsible pet ownership and supporting our local communities via the rescue and rehoming service - offering help and assistance to rehome unwanted pets. Giving them food, shelter, love, medication, and socialisation before they can be rehomed.

The hike/climb is on Saturday 29 July, and whatever the weather everyone is determined to make it to the top!!

Your donation, not matter how small, will make a MASSIVE DIFFERENCE to the WAW, which relies entirely on the generosity of supporters and received no government funding.

Wish us luck and thank you for reading!!
