Brain Tumour Research is the leading voice of the brain tumour community and focused on finding a cure for all types of brain tumours. We are campaigning to increase the national investment in research to £35 million per year and funding sustainable Centres of Excellence across the UK.

Story

2025 marks the devastating 10-year anniversary of losing our beautiful son Finlay to a GBM brain tumour when he was just 11 years old. As we reflect on the past decade without him, we are filled with a mix of huge sorrow alongside cherished memories.

This year, Fin would have been turning 21 years old, a milestone that deepens our longing and love for him. In his memory and honour, we are hosting a special memorial ball on 17th May 2025. This event is not only a tribute to Finlay's short yet impactful life but also a gathering to raise awareness and funds to support families and research dedicated to combating GBM brain tumours.

Your support and generosity would mean the world to us. If you would like to contribute to our fundraising efforts in any way, whether through donations, sponsorships, or auction items, we would be incredibly grateful. Your kindness will help us keep Finlay's spirit alive and make a meaningful difference in the fight against this devastating disease.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your support and for remembering our beloved Finlay with us.

Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer… yet just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this devastating disease. This is unacceptable!

I am fundraising for Brain Tumour Research as they are the only national charity dedicated to funding long-term, sustainable research in the UK. Please help me fund the fight. Together we will find a cure.
