Thank you for taking the time to visit Will's Quadrathlon page in aid of Maes Ebbw Special Needs School.

From 1st May to 1st July our son Will, who has profound learning difficulties, autism and a visual impairment, will challenge himself to a mini quadrathlon.

Will aims to swim 2 miles in Risca Leisure Centre's pool, walk 60 miles, cycle 50 miles using Cardiff Pedal Power's side-by-side trike and bounce 2,500 times on a trampoline during his rebound therapy sessions at Twisters in Cardiff. This is all in aid of Maes Ebbw Special School in Newport.

For 15 years Will has been a very happy pupil at Maes Ebbw and has had amazing support from the wonderful staff. He will certainly miss the fabulous relationships he has developed with the teachers, teaching assistants and fellow pupils at the school which prides itself on providing a safe and caring environment. Because of this we as a family wanted to give something back to the school as the time draws ever closer for Will to move on to pastures new.

Maes Ebbw School educates and cares for children and young people from 3-19 years with a range of complex special educational needs who require specialist provision to develop academically and achieve their potential as they move into adulthood.
