Story
So, I have decided to run the Great North Run this year for a charity that is incredibly close to mine and my wife Leah's hearts.
As most of our family and friends are aware, over the years, whilst trying to create our family, we have unfortunately lost all four of our babies.
It's something that has changed us forever. Behind the smiles, there have been years of heartbreak, hope, disappointment and more tears than we ever imagined. Pregnancy loss is something that many people don't talk about, but sadly so many families experience.
Throughout everything we've been through, the charity has been there to offer support, guidance and comfort during some of the darkest times of our lives. Knowing we weren't alone made more of a difference than words can ever describe.
So this year, I wanted to give something back.
Anyone who knows me will know that running has never really been my thing, so taking on the Great North Run is going to be a huge personal challenge. Every mile will be for our four babies, and for every family who has experienced the pain of losing a child.
If you are able to support me, no matter how big or small the donation, I would be incredibly grateful. Every penny will help this amazing charity continue supporting families when they need it most.
Thank you for reading, for your support, and for cheering me on. It truly means the world to both of us.
