Story
On 2/11/2026 my Mum closed her eyes for the last time after a tough 2 year fight against cancer. In the last 3 months my Mum was lucky enough to spend a lot of time at the Isabel Hospice who looked after my Mum like they were part of the family. Without their support and care it would have made my Mums last few months with us unbearable and as a family their work will never be forgotten or underestimated. As such I would like to raise money in Mum honour so that they can help more family’s like mine should they need it.
Isabel Hospice provides palliative support to the 370,000 people who live in eastern Hertfordshire.
Hospice care is about helping people to live well for as long as possible and have a good death in the place of their choice when the time comes. Without your help, we could not make this possible for our patients and their families. Each year we care for approx 2,000 people but we know there are even more people that need our help.
