WCCC Movember for Warwickshire Cricket Foundation

Joshua Howells-Holloway is raising money for Warwickshire Cricket Foundation

Team: Team fundraising for Warwickshire Cricket Foundation

We are a charity proud to champion cricket; whether that's playing the game, developing your skills through training and education, or working within the sector.

Story

Movember fundraiser to raise money for the Warwickshire Cricket Foundation. One of our strategic aims is to improve people's physical and mental wellbeing and a large element of what we do is to improve men’s mental health. We also work in collaboration with the Bob Willis Fund to promote prostate cancer awareness.

MOVEMBER

We are planning a Movember event - Balls, Bums and Brains.

Date - Thursday 27th November

Overview:

We're inviting everyone at WCCC to shine a light on Men's Health for Movember. We will be exploring both physical and mental health through a series of initiatives to encourage men to check their balls and bums, and for the whole organisation to come together to consider men's mental health... and have some fun. The following will be on offer:

• Physical health screenings and medical check-ups

• Interactive talk on men's mental health and suicide

• Darts tournament for the whole organisation

• A time to connect, laugh and raise some cash for Movember and The Foundation.

We are also asking if anyone is willing and able, to join the moustache growers, who will be growing and sporting facial hair throughout the month of November as a symbol of promoting men’s physical and mental health
