We’re taking part in a sponsored sleep-out to raise money for Centrepoint, a local charity supporting people facing homelessness in our community.

We’ll also be livestreaming the experience to raise awareness, talk about the realities of homelessness, and encourage donations in real time.

This is not meant to replicate the reality of homelessness. One night outside cannot compare to what many people go through every day. The goal is to better understand the challenges and use this platform to support those who face them long-term.

The money we raise will go towards vital services such as hot meals, showers, clothing, and one-to-one support that helps people move into stable accommodation and rebuild their lives.

One night for us is temporary. For many, it’s not.
