Proudly serving the community of East Berkshire and South Buckinghamshire since 1987, we provide specialist palliative & end-of-life care to people facing a terminal illness. We're committed to giving families choices about the care they receive, providing the best support at home & at the Hospice.

Story

Phil & I wanted to thank Thames Hospice for the most wonderful care and support afforded us, during our 5 weeks at our final destination together.

A beautiful facility on the banks of the Bray Lake near Maidenhead, was like a new home & new family for us. Sensitively built in 2020 and with a team of staff who''s ethic is to treat the whole family.

"A happy place where sad things happen"

Everyone should be able to expect to have the same level of exemplary care when life deals us an evil hand.

It costs £26 million pounds a year to run the Hospice of 28 rooms & only 1/3 of that is paid by the NHS (Government).

There's a wonderful "Cafe on the Lake" and soon there will be a Gold Leaf on the Memory Tree, in memoriam of Phil, a wonderful Husband, Father, Son, Brother, Uncle & friend.

If you're nearby, drop in for lunch, afternoon tea, and enjoy the beautiful grounds.
