Running the entire Border of Wales · 1 June 2026

The Brain Tumour Charity is the world’s leading brain tumour charity and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally. Committed to saving and improving lives, we’re moving further, faster to help every single person affected by a brain tumour. A cure really can’t wait

Story

In June, I will be running the entire border of Wales, starting and finishing in Swansea.

The challenge will involve running approximately 15 miles every day, covering the full Welsh coastline and land border over multiple weeks. My coach will be cycling alongside me throughout the journey.

I am doing this in memory of my Bampa, who passed away from a brain tumour.

Losing him is something that has stayed with me, and this challenge is my way of turning that loss into something positive. Every mile I run is for him, and every donation will go towards supporting The Brain Tumour Charity and the vital work they do in research, support, and awareness.

Brain tumours affect people of all ages and are still one of the least-funded areas of cancer research. The Brain Tumour Charity is working to change that, and I am proud to be fundraising in support of them.

Alongside the run, I will be documenting the journey to help raise awareness and encourage as much support as possible.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. Any donation, big or small, truly means a lot!
