As many of you will know, we sadly lost our beautiful mum and cousin, Sammy, to a brain tumour almost five years ago in August 2021. In her memory, we have decided to take on the Welsh 3 Peaks Challenge on Monday 27th April 2026, alongside a wonderful group of people, to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Many of you had the pleasure of knowing or meeting Mum/Sammy. She truly was one of a kind – with the biggest heart, the warmest smile, and always ready to help anyone who needed it. She was a very special lady, and although she fought bravely, she sadly lost her battle with cancer.

We have chosen to raise money for the Macmillan cancer support, as they are a charity that are close to not only our’s, but to so many other people’s heart’s.

This cruel disease can strike at any time, and it has touched the lives of so many of our families and friends. The support this charity provides to those affected by cancer is truly invaluable. The Macmillan Nurses, supported Mum/Sammy on numerous occasions for the last few months of her life.

We will be incredible grateful for any donations you are able to give, however large or small, as we aim to raise as much money as possible for this wonderful cause.

This will be a huge challenge for all of us taking part, but we look forward to making memories along the way and doing something positive in memory of Mum/Sammy. We will keep you updated with our plans in the lead-up to the challenge, and share updates with you on the day itself.
