Alzheimer’s Society is transforming the landscape of dementia forever.

Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice. I would like to introduce myself, I am a Registered Manager at a care home. One of our individual's at our care home has Korsakoff which is a type of dementia which he has had for many years but still lives a very fullfilled and active life with the assistance of the staffing team. This individual loves to go walking everyday and wants to take part in the memory walk that is being held at Heaton Park in , so I have set up a page for his fundraising to go to the Alzheimers Society. I cannot give out personal details of this Gentleman at this time but i will be able to update his accomplishment and how much he has raised after the event. Please give anything you can, i feel very passionate about how this gentleman has chosen to be involved in this event.
