Simple.

Three people very dear to me, have recently died because of cancer: Thor Nilsson, Mick Oddy, and my big sister, Pauline. They were brave and strong, facing things head-on, and they had a massive impact on my life.

I miss them and I want to raise money in their honour.

Why a half-marathon? I hate running! BUT, I’m here, I’m alive, and I can. No excuses.

I would like to raise money for dogs in need, because I love dogs, but I would also like to raise money for Cancer Research UK, so I have included their link, too. If you are able to contribute to either of these charities, I would be so grateful.
