Merry Maids UK & ServiceMaster Clean Contract Services have named Alzheimer’s Society our charity of the year and have thus pledged to raise £20,000 to go towards their work throughout 2025 and 2026.

As part of Merry Maids' longstanding commitment as Dementia Friends, last year, we raised over £6000 with our nationwide Forget Me Knot Challenge Campaign, supported by Donations, Raffles and Auctions from our ServiceMaster Clean Contract Services, Franchise Support Centre team and other Brand donations..

This year, we’re kicking it up a gear, as official partners.

Merry Maids have committed to supporting our staff and customers to have a better cleaning experience by training every Merry Maids cleaner across the UK in professional dementia support.

This makes us the only domestic cleaning company in the UK certified to provide accredited support to the over 800,000 people living with dementia in the UK.

The training will also help our maids to be better equipped to support our customers with specific needs and extra support, and our customers to feel ever more strongly that, with Merry Maids, they are in good hands.
