I started my running journey 2 and a half years ago and I've gone from strength to strength, running 5k, 10k and half marathon distances and now I'm ready for the big one!

I'm lucky enough to be running the London Marathon on April 21st this year and I've decided to raise funds for a local charity The Brick. Many individuals and families are struggling in this current cost of living crisis and if I can give someone a bed for the night, provide clean clothes for a child or send a food parcel to a family then I'll be more than happy. I realise that money is tight for some and lots of people will be fundraising for charities close to their hearts, but even if you can only donate £1, thank you ❤️

Our aim is to eradicate homelessness and poverty in our community. We support homeless people, those facing homelessness, and people experiencing crisis or poverty in the Wigan borough.People who are marginalised by society, who can, with support, become independent and contribute positively to their communities. Services include crisis intervention, housing and health support on behalf of the Council, a foodbank, social and employment training, and wide-ranging volunteering opportunities. We ensure no one in our community gets left behind.
