I'm running 31 miles over 31 days this January to help families affected by motor neurone disease (MND).

50 years ago I was part of a family affected by this disease and it has shocked me how little has changed in those 50 years when it comes to dealing with this horrible disease.

I watch people today going through the same deterioration that my mother suffered and it grieves me more than I can say
