I am a passionate supporter and committee member of Irish Methodist World Development & Relief. We walk alongside 12 global partners, to see more people free themselves from poverty.

One of our partners is EAST JERUSALEM YMCA: In the West Bank, there is little support for young people with disabilities or suffering trauma. EJ-YMCA staff help such adolescents and children through a holistic approach: physical and psychological rehabilitation, vocational skills training and education and mobilisation around rights.

Other partners across the world are involved in a wide range of programmes from water and sanitation, healthcare and education, to agriculture, rights training and climate change.

Together, we can make the world a better place.
