Story
On Tuesday 9th June, a dedicated team of Moto colleagues will be taking on a personal challenge: a 17-mile walk from Moto Washington southbound to South Shields via Roker. This walk is more than just a physical feat; it’s a heartfelt effort to raise vital funds for the Moto Foundation.
The Moto Foundation plays an important role in making a positive difference to communities around Moto's motorway rest-stops. By supporting national partners like the mental health charities Mind and SAMH (in Scotland), as well as environmental organizations such as the Woodland Trust and the Wildfowl and Wetland Trust (WWT), the foundation helps create lasting impact. Additionally, community grants totaling over £76,000 in 2024 are given to local charities near Moto sites, and since 2006, over 250,000 new books have been donated to schools through our network of adopted schools and community partners.
We need your support to reach our target of £500. Every donation, no matter how small, makes a real difference in helping us continue this important work. Please join us in supporting this walk today—your generosity fuels hope and positive change for so many communities. Thank you for being part of this journey!
