On 26 th October 2024 I will be running Marathon Eryri Snowdonia, I am running this to raise valuable funds for the stroke association, every 5 minutes strokes destroy lives ! 1 in 4 happens to people of working age , I am running because my husband Glyn suffered 2 strokes in May , it was a total shock , ending upon ICU after a major operation, we received emotional and practical help from the association which was incredible! He is now recovering and back to work on a few hours a week! Amazing determination!! Together we can make sure all survivors lead the best life they can ,please can you help I would be so incredibly grateful also I am dressing up as Wonder Woman to get noticed ! during marathon!!I

When stroke strikes, part of your brain shuts down. And so does a part of you. Life changes instantly and recovery is tough. But the brain can adapt.
