Story

James is holding a Charity Netball Competition on Sunday 9th August to raise money for St Teresa's Hospice in memory of his wife, Wendy 💚

Although Wendy only spent one night at St Teresa's Hospice, James spoke to us about the difference coming onto our Inpatient Unit made to her and their then 5-year-old daughter, Imogen. The space and privacy of our ensuite rooms allowed the family time to process what they were going through and the support given to Imogen by our Family Support Team was invaluable.

The Charity Netball Event will take place at Longfield School at 2pm on Sunday 9th August.

This event has been organised by James in collaboration with Darlington Headlanders Netball Club. If you are interested in joining with your team (7 a side) please contact James on 07479854420.

James has kindly been donated a variety of raffle prizes to help raise money for the hospice, including meals from Haughton Chip Shop. There will also be face painting. Please go along to show your support if you can. 💚
