In 2013, all for a good cause, I was strapped to some cheeky bloke who claimed to be ex RAF, and hurled out of a plane.

That's how I first met Alice & Nina, the sisters who started Love, Support, Unite: a charity dedicated to creating sustainable resources and education in Malawi. Their energy and passion are infectious and I wanted to do more than hand them some cash, so in 2014, I went to see and take part in their good work myself. I spent a month in Malawi delivering a course of drama workshops to the girls in the orphanage and teaching local teachers how to incorporate drama into their lessons.

Everything that Love, Support, Unite do is to build up communities in Malawi so they can lift themselves out of the cycle of poverty and sustain themselves. The idea is always to leave more resources behind than you bring.

Every penny that goes to LSU is well spent, but surely there are easier ways to earn money than to jump out of a plane?
