Story
**Update for all my amazing supporters**
First of all, thank you for helping me smash the £2,000 target—your generosity means the world to me.
Sadly, the charity that originally offered my London Marathon place (Penny Appeal) did not complete my registration with the organisers before the cut-off date. I only discovered the error this week, and there is now no way for me to start the official race on Sunday. I strongly urge you not to sign up with them in the future, as they are not professional and do not perform their job properly.
BUT a year of training and your donations will not be wasted. I will still run **26.2 miles this weekend—solo, same distance, same day—** to honour every pound you have given and the cause we all believe in. I’ll share live updates, splits and finish-line photos so you can follow every step.
Your support got me this far; I’m determined to earn it on the road. Thank you for standing with me—let’s finish this together!
Thank you all,
Wes
