Story
It's time for the first vintage tractor charity road run for 2026, through which we hope to raise funds for Highland Hospice.
The Wester Ross Vintage tractors will be leaving Ullapool on Thursday, 30th April and heading north, stopping at Kylesku Bridge (around noon) and Scourie for lunch (around 1:30 pm) before continuing to Durness and to Smoo Cave Hotel for the night.
On Friday, 1st May, the tractors will travel east and around Loch Eriboll before stopping in Tongue for some lunch, then south via Altnaharra to Lairg Highland Hotel for the night.
On Saturday, 2nd May, the tractors will work our way back toward Ullapool, with a stop at Elphin Tearooms.
The Tractors will range from the 1950s to the 1970s, with one 1980s classic making an appearance, due to issues with another vintage 60s machine. The drivers will range from the 1940s to the 1980s!
Highland Hospice is an organisation close to the hearts of all involved, with some drivers having experienced the outstanding care the Hospice has provided for loved ones
