CHRISTINE LEADBEATER: A wife, mum, grandma, mother in law, auntie, fairy godmother and special friend. Christine was diagnosed on the 16/09/2024 with two complicated types of cancers. Christine is currently fighting her battle with the support from Western Park Hospital. For those who aren’t lucky enough to know Christine, all I can say is that you genuinely can’t put into words how beautiful she really is, body & soul.

Weston Park Cancer Charity is here to face cancer with you. Their services, advice, therapies and support are for you and the people close to you, helping everyone to live with and beyond cancer. The funds raised support vital, pioneering research and clinical trials led by the exceptional medical experts at Weston Park Cancer Centre.

MY REASON:For those who know me, know that since the day I was born Christine Leadbeater and Bob Leadbeater have been my grandparent figures when growing up. Therefore, I am going to be running the GB Ultra Chester 100 mile race on behalf of my Auntie Christine batting 2 types of cancers. I know this will be physically and mentally challenging for myself however it’s nothing compared to what Christine is going through every single day. She is my icon and role model and I’m incredibly proud of her bravery and resilience battling cancer. I love you!
