Our incredible Year 6 pupils at Western Road School are embarking on an inspiring journey to celebrate their transition to secondary school through the Patina 2026 arts project.

On the 9th of May, 2026, these young adventurers will take on the Patina Bike Ride - a personal challenge that sees them cycling approximately 10 miles from Lewes to Seaford. Along the scenic Ouse Valley bike path, through Newhaven, and finally braving the cheeky seagulls of Seaford, they will pedal with determination and joy.

This ride is more than just a physical challenge; it’s a vibrant celebration of their achievements and growth. However, to make this moment truly unforgettable, we need your support. Every donation you make to Friends of Western Road School directly funds the Patina activities that enrich our children’s experience and help them create lasting memories.
