Oakhaven Hospice supports people in our New Forest, Waterside and Totton communities who are facing end of life. We provide support to manage peoples physical, emotional and spiritual needs. With your donation we can really make every moment matter for those who need us most.

Story

Last year Beth was diagnosed with terminal cancer and spent her last days at Oakhaven hospice cared for by Paul and all the staff. Beth loved the outdoors, going on hikes, climbing mountains and cycling and was part of a team of us who cycled from London to Paris raising money for diabetes charities and Brighterway the Southern health charity in 2016. As a team we want to give back to the hospice that cared for Beth. 11 of us (Emily, Fliss, Milly, Liz, Sally, Jan, Donna, Jane, Caroline, Kelly and Maggie) are in training to walk either the 8 mile, 14 mile or 26 mile distance.

Oakhaven Hospice provides specialist palliative care and support to those facing life-limiting illness and their loved ones in both a home and hospice setting.

The team of specialist Oakhaven nurses, doctors, counsellors and physiotherapists ease physical symptoms and offer psychological, spiritual and social support.

The care is tailored to suit the needs of each individual and, with a blend of expertise and compassion, the team offers support for people when they need it most.
