Story
I do not enjoy any aspect of physical exercise so a donation is gratefully received for putting myself through this, thank you.
As May is Mental Health Awareness Month, Ed-Tech-ers from FindMyFlow & Glean are teaming up to travel 2,000km in May to try to raise £2,000 for Student Minds.
Student Minds is the UK’s student mental health charity.
They help students to build their own mental health toolkit, so they have the knowledge, confidence, and skills to look after themselves - and their peers.
They have amazing self-serve resources aimed at students, as well as vital 1:1 support services, run by volunteers. 💟
They also work collaboratively with institutions, students’ unions, and other organisations involved in higher education, supporting them to take a whole-university approach to mental health.
At FindMyFlow and Glean, this is a cause close to our hearts. We recognise the enormous impact mental wellbeing can have on academic success. And we know that disabled and neurodivergent students are more likely to experience mental health difficulties than their peers.
We believe no-one should be held back by their mental health, or their disability. That's why we're challenging ourselves to get lots of mood-boosting activity in - whatever the British weather has in store for us!
By supporting Student Minds' amazing work, we can ensure students have the tools and strategies they need to thrive - at university, and beyond.
