Could you drive from St Ives, Cambridgeshire to Pisa, Italy and back… in a car worth just £1,000?

This June (26–29, 2026), The WhirlyBlokes — Dave, Jamie and Andy — are taking on the Pistons To Places challenge: a 2,300-mile road trip across Europe in a budget banger, all in the name of charity.

But this isn’t just a road trip. Every mile we drive is about raising money for Little Miracles, a Cambridgeshire charity that supports children with additional needs, disabilities, and life-limiting conditions — helping families when they need it most.

This challenge was created in memory of Nick and Wendy Jones’ daughter, and inspired by the support they wish had existed when they needed it. Now, we’re proud to play our part in making sure other families don’t have to face those challenges alone.

It’s not about speed.

It’s about adventure, teamwork, community — and making a real difference.
