MK24 Midsummer Run · 17 June 2023

We are Great Ormond Street Hospital Charity. We stop at nothing to help give seriously ill children childhoods that are fuller, funner and longer. Because we believe no childhood should be lost to illness.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit The Whitbread Waddlers JustGiving page!

On the weekend of the 17/18 June, eleven colleagues from the Whitbread Support Centre will be taking part in the MK24 Midsummer Run event - a 24hr relay at Willen Lake, Milton Keynes.

Each lap consists of 6.55 miles / 10 kilometres, and our team will be a mix of runners, walkers and Mandalorian's (yup, you read that right!) of all abilities, each looking to complete as many laps as possible within the 24 hours.

To really push the boundaries, three of the team* will also be attempting to keep going for the the full 24hrs!

Our Team:

Andrew Higginbottom, Carl McQuillan*, Keren Knight, Matthew O'Neill, Michelle Wells, Mrinal Sannyasi, Naomi Ford, Nicky Barnes, Peter Cox*, Sandra Eynon, Simon Platt*
