Story
A group of determined students and staff from William Howard School are lacing up their running shoes and taking on a mighty challenge along sections of the iconic Hadrian’s Wall Path. Starting from Chester's Fort and finishing at the school front doors in Brampton, the team will be raising vital funds for a cause close to our hearts: the Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS).
Why We’re Running
Living in Cumbria and the surrounding rural areas, we know just how essential the Great North Air Ambulance is. When emergencies strike and seconds count, GNAAS is often the fastest and only lifeline. They save lives, day in and day out, reaching the most remote locations that road ambulances simply can’t.
But they rely entirely on donations to operate. That’s why we’re stepping up or rather, running up to do our part.
The team of students and staff who run regularly after school each week will be aiming to complete all 30 miles along the wall back to school. Please support our cause and cheer us on.
