The entire team at WILA are all contributing in different ways to support Homeless Oxfordshire throughout 2024.

The Senior Management Team are undertaking a 100km continuous ultra-hike in September. An Eastbourne start, up Beachy Head, the magnificent Seven Sisters, and along the South Downs Way, with stunning views over the sea, to a Brighton half-way. Devil’s Dyke, and a few ups & downs lie ahead before historic Arundel comes into view after an amazing 100 km journey. Taking an expected 30 hours non-stop, with a climb of over 2,100m 👀

Some of the team are joining #TeamHOx at the Oxford Half Marathon on Sunday 13th October 2024 🏃‍♂️

Some are donating their time to volunteer at Homeless Oxfordshire's properties.

Everyone will be at our company fundraising day at WILA HQ on Thursday 15th August. Raffles, challenges and competitions, all to spread awareness of this amazing charity. Free lunch is being provided on the day by our catering partner, Valentine Food (in exchange for a small donation of course 😉)

Homeless Oxfordshire is the county’s largest not-for-profit supported accommodation provider for people experiencing homelessness and is an open door for people whose lives have been shaped by trauma; providing safety, stability, and support. Each night they accommodate approximately 170 people. But they are more than bricks and mortar. Their residents are mothers, brothers, aunties, cousins. They are artists, cooks, teachers, veterans. They have experienced trauma, disadvantage, discrimination and social exclusion, and their support enables them to rebuild their lives. Through their hostel and community housing projects, they provide the person-centred support to help the most vulnerable in our society to recover from homelessness.

As a charity, they rely on donations, support and funding from the public and corporations to continue delivering their vital services.
