Story
The Ocean Cleanup has been researching, extracting, and monitoring plastic pollution in oceans and rivers globally – with tens of millions of kilograms of plastic removed to date.
What are we doing and why?
We will be completing Walk the Wight 2026. This is a 26.5 mile hike across the Isle of Wight. Starting at Bembridge and finishing at Alum Bay, taking between 8-12 hours approximately. At Wild we believe in pushing boundaries, whether it’s in business, sustainability, or supporting our community. Last year we completed the National 3 Peaks Challenge as a company which was one of the most rewarding, difficult and enjoyable challenges which enabled us to foster a fabulous team culture and raise over £23,000 for 2 charities. So this year we are back for another challenge, we are determined to complete the walk and raise as much money as possible for The Ocean Cleanup, who's mission to look after our oceans strongly aligns with our company mission to remove single-use plastic from the bathroom through our refillable, plastic-free products.
We’re calling on our community to get behind us! Every donation, big or small, helps Ocean Cleanup continue their vital work, aiming to clean up 90% of floating ocean plastic pollution by 2040.
Your support is much appreciated, thank you!
