From Mizen Head to Malin Head, 850km, 4 men, 4 bikes, the team are returned under a new aegis: FUTURE DREAMS, a cause close to our hearts. As some of you may know, Fi Sangster, our own Hubie’s Mum, has recently triumphed in her battle with breast cancer. Future Dreams provided an invaluable support network throughout her treatment, giving crucial advice and comfort during such unfamiliar and troubling times. Each of us, touched by the genuine kindness and deeply felt humanity of all those who supported Fi, was spurred into action. Coming off the back of our previous campaign, the NC500, the Wild Atlantic Way, crossing the length of Ireland, loomed in the distance. For what seemed a worthy adversary, we decided we had found our match….

It is only when confronted by such hardships that one really feels what this life-changing work actually means for people. It is difficult to convey the appreciation that we all feel for Future Dreams, and while our efforts will never even approximate to what is owed, we endeavour to show our gratitude.

Future Dreams is raising funds to support women through their breast cancer journey. FD works on a number of campaigns to create awareness and fund research projects, with a main focus on secondary breast cancer. Over 50,000 people are diagnosed with breast cancer in the UK every year, the equivalent of one person every 10 minutes according to Breast Cancer Care. To date Future Dreams has raised over £5m pledging funds towards the charities three aims - support, awareness and research, focusing on secondary breast cancer.
