Cotswold Way 2026 · 27 June 2026 ·

Please support us as we complete either a 10 Peak Marathon or 5 Peak Marathon across the Cotswold Way.

Story

As a team we have decided to take part in the Cotswold Way Trek which will test all of our strength and stamina.

Richard, Veronica, Carrie & Tach will form the WFM team on Saturday 27th June 2026.

Richard will be completing the 10 peak challenge and the rest of the team will be completing the 5 peak challenge.

We will be starting in Charlton Kings, south Cheltenham and finish at either Brockworth (5 peaks) or Stonehouse (10 peaks). Walking this stretch of the Cotswold Way-escapement offers wide-open ridges, steep climbs and sweeping views across the Vale of Gloucester and the Severn Valley. We’ll pass grassy limestone slopes, patches of woodland, and historic quarry remains — the terrain is varied and dramatic. We'll be spoilt by soaring viewpoints from the escarpment’s edge, the atmospheric ruins and quarries at Leckhampton Hill, and the breathtaking vistas at Crickley Hill which deliver unrivalled perspective of the surrounding countryside.

We are raising the funds for The St. James's Place Charitable Foundation which is an integral part of our company and culture. It has grown significantly since 1992 to become one of the most successful Charitable Foundations in the UK, with over £143 million raised and distributed to good causes during this period. The Charitable Foundation has been able to support many charities and good causes over the years with multiple grants.

The main focus of the Charitable Foundation is helping children and young people who have special needs or are disadvantaged, both in the UK and overseas. The Charitable Foundation also supports the hospice movement, charities in aid of cancer and, more recently, those helping people of all ages with mental health issues.
