Story
Myself & Eight other people are taking on the 3 peaks challenge from June 14th - 15th. The three peaks challenge is walking up and down Scotland, England & wales tallest peak. We aim to do this challenge in less than 24 hours.
We have been set the challenge to raise £7,500 for a charity that is very close to myself. We understand raising such a large amount of money is going to very challenging but we feel with the support of our friends and family we can do so to raise awareness for the genetic disease Ataxia-Telangiectasia (“AT”). My sister was born with this cruel & very rare disease. With this money that is raised we hope to find a cure that could potentially extend the life’s of people with “AT” or a cure. There is a brief description below describing some of the issues that come with having AT and I’ll copy a link that describes it better than I can.
We plan to do
Quiz evenings
Charity golf days
Charity football matches
Cake sales
To raise more funds in the near future.

The AT Society is a small national charity unique to the UK in the services it offers families. The Society’s objective has been to alleviate the distress and suffering caused by AT.
The AT Society provides support services for families, funds research and specialist AT clinics, and helps raise awareness.
