Myself and Lewis will be running the Manchester Half Marathon in support of the wonderful Christie Charity.
The Christie Charity supports The Christie NHS Foundation Trust – the UK’s largest single-site cancer centre – by funding vital services that go beyond what the NHS can provide.
I’m sure most people reading this know someone who has benefited from their incredible care. For me, it’s personal – members of my family have received treatment at The Christie, and more recently, our close friend Emily has been receiving ongoing treatment for bowel cancer.
Emily has shown incredible strength throughout her journey, and The Christie has been there every step of the way with exceptional care and support. We want to raise funds for this amazing charity as a tribute to Emily’s courage and to help them continue their life-changing work.
